STUDIOSCOPIC is the commercial practice of David Scott Kessler, founded in 2009 in Philadelphia, PA.

I'm a Pew Fellowship-winning interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker who brings experimental techniques from my gallery and documentary work into commercial collaborations. My background encompasses formal training in painting and illustration at Parsons and the University of the Arts, as well as experimental film work recognized at film festivals worldwide.

I work with artists, filmmakers, organizations, and businesses that need thoughtful and creative solutions. Whether it's helping an artist realize a video component for their work, creating motion graphics and VFX for a film, or developing visual content that captures a unique vision, I approach each project as an opportunity to create something unexpected. Go ahead and give me a weird challenge—that's where the most interesting work happens.

My ongoing practice creating experimental documentaries and installations keeps me exploring new techniques, which I bring back to every collaboration.
